Jazz changes - a conversation with Steve Swallow

Legendary Jazz bass player Steve Swallow talks about the changes Jazz music is going through with 2010Lab.tv. In the 60s, New York was a magnet for the whole Jazz scene - that unique music genre was born there.

Today, Jazz has decentralised, Swallow thinks. That has lead to specific dialects and regional characteristics in the Jazz area. For Swallow, this decentralisation is a challenge and an inspiration.
