"It is possible" - interview with Dr. Jens Baganz

Dr. Jens Baganz met with 2010LAB.tv at the Creativity & Business Convention in Cologne. Young companies and their profitability in being self-employed and the question on the sustainable change of the Ruhr region are in focus.

The chance in failure

Dr. Baganz was State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Medium-Sized Companies and Energy in Northrine-Westphalia from 2005 to 2010. For young entrepreneurs, he explains the collaboration of the Starter Center with communities and the NRW bank Yet he sees a brake shoe in the German insolvency law for the self-employed and creative. He bolsters up those who experienced failure; this does not mean that they will have to give up their ideas or projects after all.

Europe - the capital of mobility

What remains after Ruhr2010? Which impulse did the bridge head of Europe's capital of culture deliver? Dr. Baganz was mayor of the City of Muehlheim from 1999 to 2002. He presents his vision of the Ruhr area as the European capital of mobility with the focal theme electromobility.
