EMSCHERKUNST.2010 – An inspection by the artists / Part 3
- Series: EMSCHERKUNST
During many inspection walks and talks, the invited artists of EMSCHERKUNST.2010 have dealt intensely with the region and the chosen locations. They have studied the actual architectural, urbanistic, but also the historical, social and sociological circumstances of the respective location. As a result, they will develop art objects which are connected with these locations – conceptually, functionally, and aesthetically unique.
Altogether, 20 interventions of more than 40 artists working alone, in pairs or groups, will be exhibited on the eight exhibition locations evenly spread on the Emscher island.
