6th annual conference of the cultural industry 2009 / pt. 1

The creative industry has more and smaller facets than other industrial areas, separating it from them and giving it its special charm. So it is extremely important to do justice to the creative forces, to support them instead of blocking their output. More and more people favour individual solutions for this complex situation - Hans Joachim Otto , for example, is decidedly against a so-called "culture flatrate".
In times of a crisis, the public authorities have smaller and smaller treasure chests to hand out from, so they have to act wise, leading to the question: what kind of exploitation will artists and creative individuals experience in the future?
Above all, there is the core question: how can I make a living as a creative person?

a report from the 6th annual conference of the cultural industry in Berlin with statements Ein Bericht von der 6. Jahrestagung der Kulturwirtschaft in Berlin mit Statements von Andreas Rochholl, Hans-Joachim Otto, Dieter Gorny, Olaf Zimmermann und Sabine Schlüter
