lablablab or blablabla?

During ISEA Ruhr 2010, I joined the excursion to visit Baltan laboratories which is located at Strijp S in Eindhoven, in the former NatLab (Philips physics laboratory). Being a 2 year pilot initiative, Baltan seeks to initiate, support and disseminate innovative research and development activities in the field of art, technology and culture. Its main strategy is to establish solid and sustainable partnerships with both local and international cultural organizations.

The review of this excursion stretched from cultural propaganda to interdisplenary network. Curious by nature, I have invited Angela Plohman, director of Baltan Laboratories, to share her own quest and vision for the realization of a future of Art Science lab.
