Berlinale - Iran visits Filmfest by denying Jafar Panahi Permission to Leave Iran

From the Berlinale 2010 writes Natasha Stanojkovski

The Berlinale remembers the iranian direcor Jafar Panahija from 2006 when he was awarded with the Silver Bear. He was planed to come again in this ceremonial year to the german Metropole of Berlin to participate in the discussion "Iranian Cinema: Present and  Future. Expectations inside and outside of Iran". Instead of him, Iran spoke in it´s way on the subject, by forbidding Panahija to leave Iran.
