“Investing in Culture”, “Urban Futures”, “The Future Of Entertainment”, “Transmedia Storytelling“ – this were some of the main topics of this years conferences and festivals 2010LAB attended as a media partner to report on current discussions about culture and creativity.

The 6th politico-cultural congress netz.macht.kultur in Berlin discussed the issue of culture politics in the digital society. 2010LAB was on location and talked with the speakers:

C’n’B (Creativity & Business Convention), Cologne

2010LAB visited the second C’n’B convention in Cologne to collect opinions and general atmosphere. The main issue: New (digital) ways for business entertainment and enterprises.

PICNIC Festival, Amsterdam

This years PICNIC festival chose the topic “Urban futures”. Again it presented brilliant speakers and ideas and impressed with a developing own festival city on the former NDSM shipyard in northern Amsterdam. 2010LAB reported about the festival’s trends and interviewed the organizers, vistors and creative and innovative minds.

Book Fair, Frankfurt

Forum d´Avignon, the fourth: From 17th to 19th November 2011, high-profile experts and decision-makers from culture, business, politics and the media met in Avignon. The forum sees itself as think tank dedicated to culture.
