In search of the ultimate party

Since the smoke prohibition became official last year, my clothes tell the alarming truth after a good night out. No longer does the smell of nicotine cover my bestial nature. I cannot hide it any longer: I sweat. A good night out for me contains the following (in random order):
*a dark dancefloor
*some dirty dancemovies
*the raunchiest of tracks
I do not leave the club until my shirt sticks to my back and my hair is as wet as a monsoon-rainfall. I do not discriminate: a sixties powerpop party can get my blood pumping as much as a good urban beat dj.
In the Watt, one of the biggest clubs of Rotterdam, arrives a new series of parties, simply named, blockparty. The first edition on the 23rd of January features my favourite dj-duo, The freshest Kidz.
Those guys never fail to get me dancing ‘till the last record they blast. Their style ranges from clubclassics to obscure hit-remixes. Catchy and unimitatable. They keep their crowds alive by surprising them. Along with them, comes a night crammed with other funky songspinners and vj’s.
I’d say it’s an absolute go!
